Government grants are just
one type of many free money grants being offered today.
Back in
the 90's, I used to watch these interesting late night
infomercials on television hosted by a pretty dorky looking
guy named Matthew Lesko.
 |
Matthew Lesko has been know
to be the
'grandfather' of government grants and free money grants
research.
He's the guy dressed up in a green costume with "?" marks
all over his outfit.
If you know who I'm talking
about, then you've probably seen his TV ad infomercials
offering a ridiculously huge guide that lists thousands of grant sources
including...
|
Government Grants College Grants Business Grants Housing Grants Investment Grants
Natural Disaster Grants and many more...
Well, since then, the
popularity of government grants has tremendously risen, and
now there are probably 1000+ Matthew Lesko copycats out there
who have probably stolen and duplicated his research.
Beware of Outdated
Information on Government Grants!
The biggest problem with
these government grant guides is that most of them are
outdated, containing links to government grant agencies that
are no longer current or don't exist. And when you try
contacting these government grant agencies, they have no
idea what you are talking about.
How embarrassing is that to
call agency after agency, and sounding more and more
desperate each time, when all you're trying to do is just
attempt to get some money that can help out your situation.
More and more government
grants peddlers keep cropping up into the marketplace, and
they are very aggressive in selling your their guides.
You've seen the ads like
these:
"$350 Billion In
Free Grants"
"Grant Money For Business, Education & Personal Needs"
"Single Mom Receives $110,000 To Open a Craft Store"
"Anne Receives $15,000 To Repair Her Building" "$50,000
To Travel The World"
....blah blah blah
You can find these ads all
over Google's search engine, including Yahoo and MSN.
I've seen them in tabloid magazines, college newspapers, and
business opportunity magazines too.
Can I actually free
government grant money?
In a nutshell, YES, you can
get free government grants.
But you need to make sure that you have some realistic
expectations like...
- Patience: You're
not going to get it overnight. So if you're behind
on your bills and can't afford to feed your family, then
this is not going to help you.
- Followup: After
you have filled out an application, you will need to followup with the agency you applied through. Keep
in mind they receive thousands of applications each day.
- Resubmit: Be
prepared to resubmit your application, in case they have
not received it. Ask for the name of the
representative you've contacted and ship it directly to
them.
- Don't Cheat: If
you are applying for a minority group type of grant,
don't lie about it in your application. This will
disqualify you from future grants that you may be
eligible for.
Government Grants (Example
Application Forms)
Land Grant
Here's the TRUTH about
government grant programs...most of the sellers of
government grants programs give you a very outdated list.
Sometimes, the list is not worth the paper they are printed
on because it's just a list they probably pulled from old search engine listings.
Sure, you might get a
handful of legitimate grant agencies on the list, but it's
so disorganized that you'd end up frustrated like I was.
Oh, and most of them don't
provide you with ANY instructions on how to contact these
agencies either. So my advice to you is to CALL each
agency you are applying to and just ask them what you can
expect, and what steps you need to take.
I've found that to be the
best approach to getting my application accepted quickly.
With that said, there are
only a few government grants (programs) that I can honestly
recommend. Everything else I've purchased and tested were
plain junk and outdated material, or just did not have the
"action plan" I was looking for in a grants research site.
Regards,
Tim Johnson

Review:
The Grant Research Guide is one of the
most popular and premier guides I've
seen on federal and private grants
online so far. They have helped hundreds
of thousands of people get grants pretty
quickly. In fact, their database
is so large and well-organized, you
won't have a problem finding what you
want using their grant search features.
Forget
about spending hours on end and wasting
your time searching hundreds of
irrelevant websites. That's what I
did before I found this guide.
Their free CD was full of helpful
information, insightful forms, example
proposals and good advice on how to get
approved for a government grant.
Remember when I mentioned above that
information can get outdated pretty
quickly. Well, they update their
guide DAILY, instead of monthly
like many of the grant guides out there.
When you sign up you are given the
option to have the CD shipped to you, or
you can download it instantly online,
for those of you who are in a hurry to
get started today. Also, I
appreciated the fast turnaround time
from their staff to some of the
questions I had.
This is a
wonderful grant guide, at a very good
price. You'll find tons of great
grants you can apply for to meet almost
every need including college grants, a
grant to build a new home, start a
business and more.

Review:
I like Grant A Day because the research
comes in a NO-BS
no-nonsense software that is one of the
easiest to use. Organization is one of
my requirements, and these guys have
really done a great job in keeping me
FOCUSED. I say "focused" because with
millions of grants out there, it's easy
to jump from one to the next, and then
suddenly you're lost. But not with Grant
A Day!
Also, you'll find so many grant
applications that can literally help you
find money for college, to help with the
bills, and also to help with fixing up
your house. It's like a ONE STOP SHOP
where you can find something to fit your
every need. The software is free and the
only thing you pay for is shipping.
Grant a Day has helped thousands of
people obtain grants, and their
knowledgeable customer service staff is
very supportive in this effort. They
also provide you with great tools that
help you with writing your first
proposals so that you can quickly secure
your grant.
One more thing I like about this program
is that they really do teach you how to
write your proposals effectively, submit
it to the government, and just sit back
and wait for your check.
Free money from governments is there for
the asking. I've never been anything
less than satisfied from this truly
helpful resource.

Review:
Grant Master is another comprehensive
government grant guide that I highly
recommend. While I do prefer my first
two picks, I still wanted to list the
Grant Master program here because these
guys have been around for a while are
very reputable. You never know
these days with the many sketchy grant
programs in the marketplace.
What I
liked most about Grant Master is that
there are a few other grants in there
that I found that were not in the other
guide above. Why is that? Because I have
very specific grant needs that probably
no one else has though of, and for me to
have found them in Grant Master was
something of significant value to me.
Also, they offer great customer service
and they can help you find whatever type
of grant you are applying for. They also
have a search feature to help you find
government grants like our two
recommendations above.
